FURNACES

Heat air in one central area and then distribute it throughout the home via ducts and vents. The primary parts of your furnace are the thermostat, gas valve, burners, heat exchanger, blower, and duct and ventilation system.

BOILERS

Enclosed container in which water is heated and circulated, for the purpose of heating, powering, and/or producing electricity. Hot water can be distributed via baseboard radiators or radiant floor systems, or can heat air via a coil.

HEAT PUMPS

For all electric homes, heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners. Because they move heat rather than generate heat, these pumps can provide equivalent space conditioning at as little as one quarter of the cost of operating conventional heating or cooling appliances.

DUCTLESS SYSTEMS

Often a good choice for room additions, sun rooms, community rooms, small apartments, and commercial properties, where extending or installing distribution ductwork (for a central air-conditioner or heating system) is not feasible. These systems offer more flexibility in interior design options and reduce the energy losses associated with ductwork of central forced air systems.
